She completed her MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram, Wardha after which she pursued her post-graduation and obtained a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai. She further did a course in laparoscopy and medical termination of pregnancy at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children. She has established a successful practice since she started 40 years back and is proficient in high-risk deliveries, complex gynaecological problems and infertility.
